R.G.D. Professional
The RGD and Registered Graphic Designer designations are signals of quality and competence to the profession, public and government. Successful candidates have met a rigorous set of standards that includes documented levels of relevant, professional education and experience as well as competence in the areas of business, design principles, research and ethics.
RGD was created by an Act of the Ontario Legislature (Bill Pr 56) and is the only graphic design association in North America to have this type of legislation. Bill Pr 56 “enables the Association to govern and discipline its members,” and also states, “Every member of the Association who meets the qualifications and conditions as set out in the by-laws of the Association may use the designations ‘Registered Graphic Designer’ and ‘RGD’.”

There really is a “Hip Mama” – just don’t ask her daughter.
Dawn is your go-to gal for all things needed for business and health promotion. She has been helping business owners fight the “feast or famine” syndrome for more than 20 years.
Dawn is a Registered Graphic Designer (R.G.D.) since 1997 and is experienced with start-ups through large established companies and government institutions. Many of her health care projects have been implemented across the country.

JEFF COWAN
Photography, Production, Book-cooker
Jeff is the “Rad Dad” at Hip Mama – again, just don’t ask his daughter.
He runs the printing and finishing department, cooks the books and does anything else that Dawn asks (or tells) him to do.
The photography services are his initiative and his favourite job to date is photographing a toilet seat. We do it all at Hip Mama.
